Join the Brighton East waitlistWhy Brighton East first
Brighton East's 3187 footprint sits between Hawthorn Road, North Road, and Bay Street, two suburbs back from the bay. The streets are wide, the blocks regular, and the night noise stays low away from the Bay Street strip. Two slow passes between dusk and dawn cover the residential core comfortably.
Brighton East opens with public launch because co-founder Damian lives in 3187. It is the postcode we know best, the streets he drives every night, the operator-vetting calls he takes from his own kitchen. Every operator on the Brighton East roster will know your street, your gate, and the cars that belong on the kerb.
What's covered
Licensed operator slow-pass between dusk and dawn. GPS-logged, time-stamped, photographed if you ask. Patrol routes begin once Vigil Guard is PSBL-approved as a security business in Victoria.
One button. Parallel call tree to your four nominated contacts plus your street, each with your live location. You call 000 yourself in a life-threatening emergency; Vigil Guard never dials 000 for you. Direct AI-routed 000 is gated on ESTA Vic approval.
One-tap suspicious-behaviour flag. Behaviour, not appearance. Three validated flags in 90 minutes inside 3187 triggers a cluster alert and redirects the next patrol pass. Free on every tier.
Optional AI camera watch on cameras you already own. Three tiers: logged, notify, dispatch. Closed-beta with founding-cohort homes. Bundled with the Estate membership.
Honest about the clocks
If a pillar is gated, the membership reflects it. You don't pay for patrols that haven't started.
Brighton East FAQ
Brighton East is one of three founding-pilot postcodes (alongside Armadale and Kew). The Watch tier is live nationally. Patrol coverage starts once we're PSBL-approved; the founding-pilot waitlist locks your seat for the first Brighton East shift roster.
No. Patrol, Panic, and Lookout are camera-free. The optional Sentry pillar watches cameras you already own: Unifi, Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, Amcrest. We don't sell hardware.
Patrol routes are mapped per cohort. Once your address is confirmed in the waitlist we share the operator-ID range and shift window for your street before the first pass. You can veto any operator from your street without explanation.
Founding-pilot rates apply to the first 10,000 seats nationally: Watch $29, Patrol $129, Estate $349 per month, billed in AUD, month-to-month, cancel from the app. Public rates ($49 / $199 / $549) apply after the cohort closes. See membership.
The panic switch is in design and gated on ESTA Vic approval for AI-mediated 000 routing. Until then, the panic switch alerts your four contacts and your street with your live location, and you call 000 yourself in a life-threatening emergency. Vigil Guard never dials 000 for you. ESTA's approval clock is roughly 12 weeks.
Cancel any month from the app. The incident log is exportable before deletion. No retention calls. Your Brighton East cohort seat is released for the next person on the waitlist.
