Community rules.

Lookout works because neighbours trust what they read. These rules keep it that way. Every member agrees to them before they can post. Break them and you lose access.

1. Zero tolerance.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members on Lookout. Posts that target a person by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or appearance are removed. Threats, harassment, doxxing, hate speech, and content that is sexual, violent, or illegal are removed. Members who post them are blocked and reported.

2. Flag behaviour, not people.

Lookout is for suspicious behaviour you witnessed: a car circling, a door handle tried, a window watched. Describe what happened, not who you imagine did it. Do not name people. Do not post photos of faces. Flags that profile a person rather than report a behaviour are removed without action.

3. Be accurate.

Report what you saw, not what you assume. False or malicious reports waste your neighbours' attention and undermine the watch. Repeated false flags end your access.

4. How we enforce it.

Every photo is screened by AI before it posts. Every post can be reported by any member. Reported content is reviewed and removed within 24 hours, and members who break these rules are blocked and removed. You can block any member from your own feed at any time. We act on every report.

5. Reporting and blocking.

Tap any flag to report it or block its author. Reports reach the Vigil Guard team directly. To raise something urgent, write to safety@vigilguard.com.au and we will respond. In a life-threatening emergency, call 000.
